Charity Ball Birthday Celebration

PCS Outreach Ministries Charity Ball is a grand event that recognizes and honors several non-profit organizations, leaders, and businesses that are committed to serve the community. Since its inception in 2006, the founder would have a community birthday celebration every December to raise money for local families in need during the holiday season. This celebration was later called the Charity Ball Birthday Celebration which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and allows the PCS Outreach Board to provide services and give gifts and foods to over 1,500 families during the Christmas Holidays.

The Story: “Why It’s Called the Charity Ball Birthday Celebration”

The Charity Ball Birthday Celebration has its roots in a deeply personal act of generosity. Each year, our Founder and President would celebrate her birthday — but instead of receiving gifts for herself, she asked that donations be made to support the community. What began as a birthday gathering with a purpose quickly grew into something far greater.

Recognizing the need to not only raise funds but also to honor individuals and organizations making a difference, the event evolved into what we now know as the Charity Ball Birthday Celebration. It is both a fundraiser for PCS Outreach Ministries and a recognition ceremony for community heroes who are addressing critical issues such as food scarcity, financial struggles, homelessness, education, and family support.

So the name reflects its dual purpose:
• Birthday Celebration – The tradition that started it all.
• Charity Ball – The formal event that raises funds and honors community heroes.

Together, it embodies the heart of PCS Outreach turning a personal milestone into a blessing for many.

Over time, this unique combination of celebration and service became a powerful tradition. It embodies the heart of PCS Outreach: choosing to give, uplift, and unite the community turning what could have been just a personal milestone into a moment that blesses hundreds of lives.
